DIY Farmhouse Candle Holder Centerpiece

DIY Farmhouse Candle Holder Centerpiece

Today I am joining in the “Girls Can Use Power Tools Challenge” hosted by Natalee @ Designed to the Nines and her co-host this month is Jessica @ Measure and Mix. Natalee and Jessica challenged us to use a power tool of our choice on camera to do a DIY, home improvement, or seasonal/home decor project.  I chose to do a simple DIY project that can be used year-round in my home. I created my DIY Farmhouse candle holder centerpiece using items I already had on hand and I am so excited with how it turned out.

The inspiration for my project came from Etsy and after one look I knew I had everything on hand to create my own multi taper candle holder.

I used a 3/4 spade bit along with my cordless drill to make the holes for my tapered candles.

To stain the wood I chose Minwax Special Walnut and applied two coats to the block of wood after I finished sanding.
