Oh Dyson V7, how I love thee! This vacuum really sucks I mean it really sucks. The Dyson V7 has 2 power settings you can choose from depending on the area you are vacuuming and if you want to extend the charge of the battery. This vacuum is also cordless and the charge will usually last me 30 mins which is fine with me since I don’t have to vacuum my home every day. The color kind of throws you off at first but trust me you quickly get past the bright fuchsia color of this vacuum after you use it for the first time. It doesn’t have a huge waste bin but the way you empty the bin is genius. You simply pull the lever up on the waste bin and the bottom opens up releasing the dirt. Genius!!! The pivoting head allows me to go around tight spaces and it also comes with several attachments to allow it to transfer to a handheld vacuum.
There is no better feeling than crawling into a freshly made bed with luxurious linens and this Linen/Cotton blend duvet cover fits the bill. As I was on the hunt for a duvet cover I wanted one that was made with natural fibers, looked beautiful and didn’t cost a fortune. I finally found one made by Kiss & Tell that met all of criteria. This duvet has large buttons instead of a zipper to hold a quilted duvet insert inside. In my opinion buttons instead of a zipper on a duvet cover works so much better because if a button falls off you can easily sew it back on if a zipper needs to be repaired it can get a little pricey.
Since building shelves is not my forte I scoured the internet for an alternative that worked for my budget. I stumbled upon the following shelving by Origami and after reading the countless reviews I pulled the trigger and bought 2 of these. And these have to be THE easiest shelves to put together. you can watch my video here to see how long it took me to put these together.
For anyone that loves to cook you will love having an immersion blender in your kitchen arsenal. You can use one to make everything from tomato sauces, pesto, and soups to whipped cream, milk shakes and smoothies. Mine gets used quite often and it has a lot of power to get the job done. I found my Chefman Immersion Blender on Amazon.com for under $25 it was worth every penny. The clean up is really easy since all you do is detach the blade from the base, give it a good wash and reattach.
Round mirrors can cost a fortune and I have been wanting one for my bathroom for a while now so when I came across the Project 62 mirrors sold at Target I was instantly smitten! Target sells these mirrors for $49.99 and they’re a whopping 28″. I have seen similar in catalogs for 5 times as much. After purchasing the large one I purchased 2 of the smaller ones for my den. If you’re looking for a minimalistic mirror that doesn’t skimp on beauty…this is the one.
